EKME S.A. is a Fabricator and Contractor for the Oil & Gas downstream, midstream and upstream sectors.

Founded in 1973, EKME’s Headquarters and main factory along with its newly established Port Assembly yard area, are located in Thessaloniki in Northern Greece, very close to the harbor of Thessaloniki. EKME also has an affiliated fabrication company, named "ARCOMET RMC FZC", in the Maritime City Free Zone at Ras Al-Khaimah, in the United Arab Emirates. 

EKME is regarded as one of the largest fabricators in SE Europe in pressure equipment, such as:
  • vessels
  • shell & tube heat exchangers
  • reactors and towers/columns
In addition, EKME is a major Skid and Modular Unit supplier specialized in the complete engineering, design and in-house manufacture of Skid & Modular Plants. Moreover, it has extensive experience in the execution of Brownfield erection projects including General Shutdown (Turn Around) projects, which has been one of the key activities of EKME for over 40 years now.

Today, EKME undergoes a major development program in order to respond appropriately to market challenges. Taking into consideration the dynamic oil and gas market environment, EKME has invested in:
  • new shop expansion, by adding 12,000m2 of yard space in our Thessaloniki plant
  • new Fabrication Building Shop of 1,500m2 area
  • new Clean Room Fabrication Shop of 500m2
  • new Piping Workshop of 500m2
  • new external Assembly area of 2,000m2
  • new Assembly and storage Yard of 9,000m2.

In parallel, it is continuously investing in new automated production machinery. This will add up to a total of 36,500m2 of total open space and 7,500m2 production area.

At the same time a new development strategy is implemented, to allow the company to higher production volume and more specialized products for highly demanding markets, such as the fabrication of High-Pressure Heat Exchangers and of Marine Equipment, and the supply of large-scale Production Modules.
